media release: Interdependence Day, July 5, is a community celebration of the spirit of resilience we find in our shared human experience, bringing the world and our neighborhood together in a dance of mutual reliance. Live music throughout the day and night, artists presenting their creations, interactive activities, environmental groups inspiring engagement with the natural world, and the potluck BBQ rolling; this daytime, free, outdoor event at the Bur Oak will be a joyful initiation to the summer and foster the diverse connections that make the Madison community vibrant and strong. Parking lot tunes during the day will be provided by Novel Folly, Maestranza, Seasaw, DefSonic, and Lukie P. Festivities carry on into the evening with a ticketed show of Madison's finest musical acts, The Earthlings, Free Dirt, and Wurk.
